Shit Brindle Explained

My father grew up on the prairies and once, after dying my hair, he told me it looked like "shit Brindle".
When I asked him what "shit brindle" was he explained that on the prairies, when they had a barn to paint they would canvas other area farmers for any left over paint. When the first paint was finished they would start on the next pot of paint and what they ended up with was usually a mix of different shades of brown which they termed "shit brindle"
The definition of brindle is having a grey or brown streak or a pattern or a patchy coloring....love my dad to death!

  1. My mom used to describe things as "shit brindle" and I always thought it was something she had made up!!
Good to know it's an actual description.
